Ahhh. Summer break has come to an end and feels like it flew by even faster than the year before. Most of us struggle with feeling excited for a fresh start and a new year and feeling overwhelmed with new classes, assignments, and new relationships to build. To help get back into the swing of things, BHS is starting summer reading groups for students and teachers.
Students have been placed into summer reading book talk groups. They will be confirming those groups with their English teachers this week. Student responsibilities include reading the book, and completing a reading response form and bringing to group talks for discussion. All book talks are technology-free, so no need to bring a laptop or iPad. A special schedule will take place on September 13th, 2019 where 60 minutes will be dedicated for the first book talk after second period. BHS is very excited for this program to start and is looking forward to connecting with the students on the books they have read over the summer! Comments are closed.
